While away in Co Cork for a weekend we made our way to Top Of Coom Ireland's Highest Pub Creedons, with the hope it would be open and lucky for us it was.
We were greeted and served by a lady named Eileen, who was pottering away cleaning, and a wonderful job she does too, the place is spotless clean and there was fresh Lilly's in the ladies bathroom which is a lovely touch.
A lovely turf fire was burning and it was so cosy to sit beside, it was a bitterly cold day outside so the fire was very welcome.
I'd definitely recommend a visit to Ireland's Highest Pub if you're in the area, it's not hard to find, but take note it opens in the late afternoon and doesn't serve food.
I'll definitely be back again in the future.
